my first attempt at a conversion Since i can't find a 1/43 68 bullit mustang, i decided to attempt to build one. It started out as a white 67 mustang made by Dinky (matchbox) that i had laying around. I drilled out the rivets, painted the interior black, sanded and primed the body and painted it. The paint can said british racing green and looked darker than it came out. The original car is much darker. I might take it apart and repaint it. The wheels and tires are from a -*test*-('")ors hot rod kit. its really not that good, but i had a lot of fun doing it, and until i find a Bullit mustang, it will have to do.

Hello fordfreak,
There is one 1968 Mustang in 1/43 and makes for an easy conversion as it comes with the right wheels and right looks. It's from Minichamps
In fact, if you get lucky and don't mind paying for it, you can buy the official Bullitt model
Good luck!!

Minicord,
thanks for the advice. Your work is excellent. I wish I had your talent. I am going to start looking for the both Minichamps models today. Hopefully I can find the Bullit model. I really want that car. I hope to have a real one some day.
