Mondo Models?
Can anyone comment that has seen or bought one of the new 1:18 Maserati Gran Turismo by Mondo Models? Supposedly there is a "low end" and "high end" version. I'm assuming that the one we have available is the "high end" one. I did see it, really nice for that price range. These have La Mini Miniera markings on the box, they are an italian distributor. So it seems that they are behind the project, but I don't know who the actual mfg. is?

I don't normally get into 1/18, but I remember asking you about this model. After a bit of research, it looks like this could be a Bburago model. After looking at La Mini Minieras' site, I've come to the conclusion that they re-work a lot of different models with Bburago as a base. Bburago has had new ownership for awhile and it seems that the quality of the models has improved. As far as "high-end/low-end", Bburago has two different levels for their 1/18s, "Diamond" and "Gold", so this might explain what's going on here. Hopefully, this info will shed a bit of light on "Mondo Models". Dave

Mondo
Hi Guys
This is my first post here. Here is the web address for Mondo Motors.

I heard on another forum that the high end models come in a better presentation box but the diecast is the same. I have had the Reventon, Concept S and the Maserati in each colour and for the price they are good in my opinion.
